SkillAssess is operated by Thequickskill.com (ABN 69 835 150 225), an Australian business. We provide AI-powered certification exam practice for GRC and cybersecurity professionals. You can contact us at support@skillassess.io.
We collect information you provide directly (name, email address, password) when you create an account. We also collect usage data automatically, including questions answered, scores, session durations, and browser/device information. If you subscribe, your payment is processed by Stripe — we do not store card details.
We use your information to operate the platform, personalise your study experience, track your progress, send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset), and improve our AI question generation. We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
Questions on SkillAssess are generated by Google Gemini using our proprietary study material. Your quiz responses are used to adapt difficulty and track readiness scores. We do not share individual answer data with third parties.
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication (Supabase session cookies). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. Analytics, if any, are first-party and anonymised.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Quiz session logs are retained for up to 24 months to support progress tracking. You may request deletion at any time by emailing support@skillassess.io.
Under Australian Privacy Act 1988 and applicable laws, you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. You also have the right to withdraw consent and request data portability. To exercise these rights, email support@skillassess.io.
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), bcrypt password hashing, and row-level security on our database. No system is completely secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of SkillAssess after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
